Emu bush or eremophila are a recent trend in Australian gardens. They are tube shaped and primarily bring in birds such as New Holland Honeyeaters who can get to the nectar down the long tubular flowers. The tiny blue banded bees are buzz pollinators but they are also known to poke through the base of long flowers to get at the nectar!
