Products

  • I aim to keep as much of the manufacturing process in Australia as I can, but there are many items and materials that are not made here.

The stationery is all printed in Sydney or Melbourne on 100% post-consumer recycled card.

Tea towels are made of linen sourced overseas and printed & sewn in Melbourne.

Stickers are currently manufactured from an ethical manufacturer in the UK.

  • My stationery line is printed in Sydney and Melbourne on 100% post-consumer recycled paper and card. That means it has all been used by someone and then placed in a recycling bin, before being turned into new paper!

The quality is as high as similar papers made from fresh wood.

  • I do! I paint each design by hand before scanning it to my computer and turning it into a printable file for my manufacturers.

  • Australia has a limited manufacturing sector, and we simply don’t make all the materials I need for my products!

In some cases, we do manufacture the materials but as a single person, small batch business I simply can’t afford to order at the quantity required and would have an extreme oversupply to try to sell.

Packaging

  • Packaging is provided to keep products fresh for your customers. Where possible, my products are provided in minimal compostable or recyclable packaging.

  • The following items are used in packaging:

    • Biodegradable cellophane bags made from plants. These are used to protect greeting cards.

    • Paper labels, recyclable and compostable

    • Paper wraps

    • Paper or card information sheets

I have a stack of cellphane bags that are only certified “biodegradeable”, and as I used them up am switching to NatureFlex cellophane, which carries the following certifications:

    • European (EN13432) for industrially biodegradable packaging

    • United States of American (ASTM D6400) for industrially biodegradable packaging.

    • Vincotte to the OK Compost home standard for home composting

  • Paper, card and labels are sourced in the following order:

    1. Recycled paper, post-consumer (so it has already been used once)

    2. Recycled paper

    3. FSC Forestry managed papers

    4. New paper (typically for small urgent items).
